Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Nona Lions vs. Winter Park Wildcats

Lake Nona is 0-8 against Winter Park since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions will welcome the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Lake Nona turned things around against West Port on Saturday. They came out on top against the Wolf Pack by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Winter Park faced Belen Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolverines.

Winter Park not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Belen Jesuit between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Lake Nona's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Winter Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
