            Basketball Preview: Burlingame Panthers vs. Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS        
        
		
        
        
            The Burlingame Panthers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hillsdale took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Burlingame, who comes in off a win.
It was a proper cat-fight when  Burlingame took on Woodside on Friday. Burlingame walked away with  a   53-45  win over Woodside.

 Burlingame found their leader in freshman  Lucca Maher, who  went 7 for 15  on his way to 21  points and seven  boards. Those 21 points gave  Maher a new career-high.  Marcus Tapia was another key player,  putting up 11  points.
 Meanwhile, Hillsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They took  a  60-46 bruising from Half Moon Bay. While losing is never fun, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 605th, while the Cougars are ranked 139th).
 Burlingame's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Hillsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
 Burlingame came up short against Hillsdale in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024, falling  53-41. Can Burlingame avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
