Baseball Recap: Toledo Comes Up Short

Toledo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-6 to the Mapleton/Siuslaw Sailors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Toledo's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mapleton/Siuslaw, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Toledo will host Myrtle Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Toledo's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mapleton/Siuslaw, they will head out on the road to challenge North Bend at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games North Bend has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
