Volleyball Recap: Darby Horn Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Warren Central

Jackson Academy won the last time they faced Warren Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Jackson Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Jackson Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darby Horn, who had 22 assists. That's the most assists Horn has posted since back in September of 2024.

Jackson Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Warren Central, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Jackson Academy will take on Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren Central, they will venture away from home to take on Madison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
