Baseball Recap: Crown Point Finds Home Field Redemption Against Boone Grove

There's no place like home for Crown Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Boone Grove Wolves a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Linus Chariton tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Jaxtyn Alexander was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).
