Basketball Game Preview: McNairy Central Bobcats vs. Jackson North Side Indians

McNairy Central is 1-9 against Jackson North Side since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The McNairy Central Bobcats will be playing at home against the Jackson North Side Indians at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, McNairy Central lost to Chester County at home by a 58-42 margin. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jackson North Side unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 51-43 to Jackson South Side. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McNairy Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Jackson North Side, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-3.

McNairy Central came up short against Jackson North Side in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 52-45. Can McNairy Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
