Basketball Recap: Taft Skates Past Sheridan with Ease

Taft was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sheridan on Friday. The Taft Tigers claimed a resounding 76-33 victory over the Sheridan Spartans. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Taft now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Sheridan, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Taft Tigers challenge the Nestucca Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Sheridan, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yamhill-Carlton at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
