Volleyball Recap: Red Cloud's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Red Cloud came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Sandhills/Thedford Knights with a sharp 3-0 win.

Red Cloud never let Sandhills/Thedford on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Aiva Rust paced Red Cloud's offense, picking up 19 kills. Rust got some help from Josie Faimon and her 15 assists. Faimon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Red Cloud's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Sandhills/Thedford, their defeat ended a 14-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 26-6.

Red Cloud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Wynot on the 6th. Sandhills/Thedford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
