Baseball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman and Tatum squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Quitman had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Thursday.

Quitman has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Tatum, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-6.

As of now, neither Quitman nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
