Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Williston turned things around against Jamestown on Friday. They came out on top against the Bluejays by a score of 81-71.

Meanwhile, Legacy faced Mandan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Legacy came up short against Mandan, falling 72-52. The game marked Legacy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Legacy's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4. As for Williston, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-9.
