Baseball Recap: Fisher Comes Up Short

Fisher fell victim to Brusly and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Gators' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Patrick Henderson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Fisher saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Champagne, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for Brusly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Fisher nor Brusly have any future games scheduled.
