Basketball Recap: New Glarus Takes a Loss

New Glarus lost against Monroe back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The New Glarus Glarner Knights took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroe Cheesemakers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Glarner Knights still had to take the loss.

New Glarus has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Monroe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

When New Glarus and Monroe next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. New Glarus will try to stop Cambridge's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Monroe will square off against Edgerton and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
