Softball Recap: Clarksburg Has No Trouble Against Bradford

Clarksburg barely beat Bradford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets blew past the Red Devils 8-1 on Saturday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Addison Milam made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Clarksburg got a big performance out of Libby Autry, who earned two RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Belew, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Clarksburg's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Bradford, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

As of now, neither Clarksburg nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
