Football Recap: Farson-Eden Falls Short Against Ranked Encampment

Farson-Eden faced Encampment in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pronghorns were beaten by the Tigers 68-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pronghorns of the 59-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Farson-Eden and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Encampment, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farson-Eden will square off against Casper Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Encampment, they will face off against Dubois at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
