Volleyball Recap: Naseem Hennouch Key Part of Team Effort in Lancers Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bristol Eastern had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Windsor Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Bristol Eastern's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Naseem Hennouch, who had ten digs and seven aces. That's the most aces Hennouch has posted since back in October. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Drury, who had ten kills, five digs, and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Bristol Eastern was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matchups.

Bristol Eastern's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Windsor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.

Bristol Eastern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against East Lyme on the 5th. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
