Volleyball Recap: Marshalltown Takes a Loss

Marshalltown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Polk Rams. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marshalltown's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southeast Polk, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Marshalltown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Waukee on the 13th. As for Southeast Polk, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 13th.
