Basketball Recap: North Bergen Takes a Loss

North Bergen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoboken Redwings. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Redwings are ranked 95th).

North Bergen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hoboken, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Bergen will host Kearny on Saturday. As for Hoboken, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Snyder at 12:00 p.m.
