While Olton's victory against Hale Center wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Owls 8-6. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Olton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Hale Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Olton will square off against Abernathy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Antelopes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.89 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hale Center, they will face off against New Deal at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Owls will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
