Soccer Recap: Unioto's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Unioto came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Adams Green Devils, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Unioto can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while North Adams are ranked 97th).

Unioto's goal came courtesy of Luke Mautz, who's now up to 15 this season.

Unioto moved to 5-5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for North Adams, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Unioto will take on South Webster at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for North Adams, they will face off against Alexander at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
