Rains had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Prairiland Patriots with a sharp 13-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-1 back in March.

Rains' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Prairiland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
