Coby Herman put up the most rushing touchdowns he's had since back in August on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 170 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 52 yards.

Coming up, Herman and La Costa Canyon will challenge Torrey Pines at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Mavericks were victorious the last time they faced the Falcons, a win that might not have happened without Herman: he rushed for 88 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 79 receiving yards.
