Oak Grove won the last time they faced Ann Sobrato, and Cole Takeda did his part to make sure it happened again. The Oak Grove Eagles walked away with a 54-44 win over the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs on Friday thanks in part to Takeda, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 17 points. Oak Grove is undefeated when Takeda posts 15 or more points, but 8-12 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was De'Arii Rogers, who posted eight points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Oak Grove and bumps their season record up to 11-12. As for Ann Sobrato, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-18.

Looking ahead, Oak Grove will venture away from home to square off against Wilcox at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ann Sobrato does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
