Recap: El Campo Ricebirds vs. Worthing Colts
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the El Campo Ricebirds had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Worthing 42-14 on the road. The victory was nothing new for El Campo as they're now sitting on three straight.
Ja?Kwuan Hudlin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 274 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Norman, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
El Campo now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Worthing, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
El Campo is on the road again on Friday and play against Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Chapel Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Campo in Texas (Chapel Hill is ranked 95th, while El Campo is ranked 315th). Worthing does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
