Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against San Mateo back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lincoln Mustangs lost 9-1 to the San Mateo Bearcats. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerry Hou, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Hou also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for San Mateo, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Lincoln has already played their next match, a 10-2 victory against Mission on the 6th. As for San Mateo, they will face off against Sacred Heart Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
