Basketball Recap: Twinfield Comes Up Short

Twinfield lost against Mount Anthony back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Twinfield Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Mount Anthony Patriots. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Twinfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Mount Anthony, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twinfield will host Danville at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Mount Anthony, they will challenge Burr & Burton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Mount Anthony has lost 14 straight at home (dating back to last season), while Burr & Burton has lost four on the road.
