Soccer Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lutheran

George Washington kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Lutheran Lions by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to George Washington of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. George Washington will challenge Fort Morgan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Arapahoe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
