Volleyball Recap: Truckee Extends Winning Streak to Four

After losing to McQueen the last time they met, Truckee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolverines walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lancers on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won four matches in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 18-25, 25-19, 25-13.

Aurora Derrick paced Truckee's offense, picking up 14 kills. Derrick got some help from Makenna Hogland and her 36 assists.

Truckee's record is now 19-6. As for McQueen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Truckee will head out to face off against Incline at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McQueen, they will square off against North Valleys at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
