South Ripley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Connersville Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 63-44. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Spartans are ranked 194th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Connersville's loss came despite strong showings from Jadan Peterson and Judd Garrett. Peterson went 5 for 10 en route to 18 points, while Garrett posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave Garrett a new career-high in assists (three).

South Ripley's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. As for Connersville, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
