It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jeffersonville had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Madison Cubs as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Joel Ramirez paced Jeffersonville's offense, picking up 20 kills. Ramirez got some help from Jordan Rodgers and his 33 assists. Ramirez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
Jeffersonville's victory bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Madison, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-12.
Jeffersonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Silver Creek on the 17th. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
