Volleyball Recap: Kim/Branson Mustangs vs. Deer Trail Eagles
Kim/Branson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Deer Trail Eagles.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Kim/Branson sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-10, 19-25, 15-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Deer Trail to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ruby Ramirez, who had six digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Ramirez a new career-high.
