Despite the loss, Booker T. Washington got a solid performance out of Jahmal David, who scored 37 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points David has scored all season. Tyler Wright was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Miami Beach came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Homestead with points to spare, taking the game 60-46.
Booker T. Washington has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Miami Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
