Lenape Valley can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They never let the Newton Braves get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since May 27, 2025.

Lenape Valley picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Newton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Lenape Valley and Newton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Patriots (ranked 316th) will meet Vernon (ranked 114th) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Newton will take on Jefferson Township at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (298 vs. 70).
