Yazoo County hasn't had much luck against Ridgeland recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Yazoo County Panthers will host the Ridgeland Titans at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Yazoo County is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Raymond, falling 62-30. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Ridgeland faced Germantown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Ridgeland fell 55-48 to Germantown. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Yazoo County will have to contain Khameron Snow as he made an impact in Ridgeland's last game. He dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Snow has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Marquis Williams, who posted nine points.

Ridgeland's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Yazoo County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
