Softball Recap: Traverse City West Comes Up Short

Traverse City West managed to slip by Petoskey the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 14-4 to the Northmen on Tuesday. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Northmen earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Delaney Witkop made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Traverse City West's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Petoskey, their record is now 23-3.

Looking ahead, Traverse City West will be playing in front of their home fans against Mona Shores at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Petoskey, they will venture away from home to square off against Big Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
