Cedar Falls had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Western Dubuque Bobcats by a score of 5-1. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cedar Falls' victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Western Dubuque, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Falls will take on Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
