Basketball Game Preview: Wheaton North Falcons vs. Glenbard East Rams

The Wheaton North Falcons will square off against the Glenbard East Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wheaton North and Wheaton-Warrenville South faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. Wheaton North came out on top against Wheaton-Warrenville South by a score of 48-37.

Meanwhile, Glenbard East beat Willowbrook 62-49 on Saturday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Warriors are ranked 461st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glenbard East has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Wheaton North, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.
