Cartersville had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Allatoona Buccaneers. This was a revenge game for the Hurricanes: when they faced off against the Buccaneers back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Among those leading the charge was Sydney Seigler, who had nine digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August.

Cartersville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matchups.

Cartersville's record now sits at 41-6. As for Allatoona, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 34-10.
