Basketball Recap: Kingman Comes Up Short

Kingman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Chaparral Roadrunners 71-39. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 32 points.

Kingman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Chaparral, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4-3.

Looking ahead, Kingman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Belle Plaine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaparral, they and Garden Plain will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Chaparral knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Garden Plain likes a good challenge.
