Football Recap: Majeed Hassan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Carlynton over Keystone Oaks

Carlynton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles, falling 42-18. The Cougars lost against the Golden Eagles in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 10-7 score last time.

Carlynton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Majeed Hassan, who rushed for 65 yards and one score on only five carries.

Carlynton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Keystone Oaks, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.
