Basketball Recap: Korbin Eaton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Flathead over Butte

Flathead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 75-67 to the Butte Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-69 back in January.

Several Braves/Bravettes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Korbin Eaton, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 14 points and three steals. Eaton has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brodee Zahn, who went 5-for-7 en route to 14 points.

Flathead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Butte, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Flathead will challenge Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Butte, they will take on Big Sky at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
