Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Providence Christian Academy walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Calvary Day Cavaliers on Saturday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Storm have posted since September 23rd.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (112-104) Providence Christian Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 17-15.

Zoie Cameron paced Providence Christian Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cameron got some help from Sydney Cook and her 38 assists. Emmy Moody and Tyler Clements kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Calvary Day still got an impressive performance from Vanessa Healy, who had seven digs and six aces.

The win made it two in a row for Providence Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 37-10. As for Calvary Day, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 19-11 record.

Providence Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mount Paran Christian on the 22nd. Calvary Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
