Tuscola not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 10-0). They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Shelby Golden Lions. The result was nothing new for the Mountaineers, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Tuscola saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Isaiah Hyatt was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Tuscola's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Shelby, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Tuscola will take on West Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelby, they will square off against Burns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Golden Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
