Volleyball Recap: Chloe Stock Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Monte Vista + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Steele Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Monte Vista Monarchs on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Steele Canyon never let Monte Vista on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 25-23.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Steele Canyon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Stock, who had 18 assists and six digs. Those 18 assists gave Stock a new career-high.

Steele Canyon now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Monte Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Steele Canyon will host El Cajon Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monte Vista, they will square off against Coastal Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
