Softball Recap: Pickens County Takes a Loss

Pickens County lost against Pickens Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tornadoes fell 7-2 to the Pirates. The Tornadoes just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Pickens County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Pickens Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickens County will host Aliceville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tornadoes are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pickens Academy, they will square off against Holy Spirit Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
