It was all tied up at the half for Fredonia/Brocton and Falconer/Cassadaga Valley last Friday, but Fredonia/Brocton stepped up in the second half. Fredonia/Brocton snuck past Falconer/Cassadaga Valley with a 24-19 victory.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Albion, Burgard were happy to find some success. Everything came up roses for Burgard against Eden/North Collins as the team secured a 36-0 win. With Burgard ahead 22-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Their wins bumped Burgard to 2-2 and Fredonia/Brocton to 4-0. In their win, Burgard relied heavily on senior Jacquez Jones, who rushed for 35 yards and 1 touchdown. Fredonia/Brocton will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
