Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the Hardee Wildcats couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 26-6 walloping at the hands of Estero on Friday. Hardee's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Estero got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malik Allen out in front who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Matthew Wilson was another key contributor, throwing for 205 yards and three touchdowns.

Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Estero, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Hardee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Estero will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Verot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Verot is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
