Kingman suffers fifth straight loss on the road

The Kingman Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Yuma Catholic on the road and fell 65-22. Kingman has not had much luck with Yuma Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Amanda Wiley was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds for Yuma Catholic. The match was Wiley's 14th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ximena Poo, who scored 13 points.

Kingman's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.6 points per game. As for Yuma Catholic, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingman will be staying on the road on January 17th to face off against Parker at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Yuma Catholic, they will take on Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 845th in California, while Yuma Catholic is ranked 140th in Arizona).
