Baseball Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Thunderbird Titans. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Moon Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Crystian Norstrom, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Thunderbird, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Thunderbird will take on Mesquite at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunderbird's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mesquite has averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. Moon Valley will be paying especially close attention to Thunderbird's matchup: after Thunderbird faces off against Mesquite, they'll take on Moon Valley again at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
