Perry has gone 7-0 against Jefferson Area recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Rangers are ranked 403rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Area came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 61-51 win over the Bulldogs.

Jefferson Area pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Perry, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
