Football Recap: Clements Starts off Right with Win over West Limestone

Clements gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 21-14 win over the West Limestone Wildcats. For the Colts, this counts as revenge for the 48-7 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clements to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Tucker, who rushed for 106 yards and one TD. Those 106 rushing yards gave Tucker a new career-high. Jake Fleming also deserves a shout-out for his two scores.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clements will square off against Ardmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Limestone, they will face off against East Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
